Infrared ceramic heaters consist of a metal case with a convection chamber, a thermal compound (electrical insulating material), a heating element, a ceramic plate, which is a heat storage and emitter, and a programmable thermostat.
An aluminum heat shield is installed inside, thanks to which the back side of the case does not overheat and energy is not wasted on heating the wall on which the panel is fixed. These constructive solutions provide high efficiency of space heating with maximum energy savings.
Ceramic electric heaters combine both types of heating:
Far Infrared Ceramic Panels
Ceramic faced far-infrared room heating panel with inbuilt thermostat to ensure efficient operation, suitable for use within residential, office or retail.
Far-infrared energy is a form of radiant heat, meaning that rather than heating cold air and distributing it around the room –the actual fabric of the room is heated along with objects, including people, within it. The panels heat via the carbon crystal element behind the ceramic panel which, in turn emits Far-Infrared heat/energy.
Far-infrared heat is absorbed like the sun\’s rays, to provide a comfort factor independent of air temperature, so heat loss from air change is reduced and over a short time the room heat-up period will reduce, saving energy and cost whilst maintaining a comfortable heated environment.
